My name is Jimmy Mehta. I grew up in Kutch, Gujarat. My father read Economic Times mainly to check stock quotes. I read about IIM-A graduate getting a 1Cr job.

With eyes set on IIM, I studied hard, scored 99%ile in CAT 2010 (a first for my district). Didn't made it to any IIM. Graduated from IMT Ghaziabad in 2012.

I am someone who has 10+ tabs open when researching a ₹12,000 phone. I compare every spec, read every review. I don't buy blind.

The First Lesson

"I thought I did my research."

The Dream

I bought my home in Pune after visiting 15+ projects. I spent hours researching online. I loved the sample flat. The deal felt right.
I was happy.

The Reality

Days after moving in, I found out a major garbage disposal plant was planned 100m away.

The Close Call.
